We all try to conserve our health in fear of the inevitable. We care for ourselves more directly as individuals and seperate segratory categories than we do as a race, a human race.
We are selfish in the sense that we see it as our place to dominate all at the cost of others, and indeed our planet and moreover our galaxy.
My views are more than likely held because of my political and social views. You could say the cynisism is a let-down from the fact we cannot have our idealogic world. But I'm not that communist. My views reflect more from those of Muhattama Ghandi and the Dali Lama. I have respect for my surroundings, not local, not global, but universal.
What is money? Money is a promise of gold, something that is rare and used solely because of that fact for trade.
But at the end of the day it only provides us with a discipline. Not necessarily the ethics to manage it fairly.
Open your eyes and see beyond what decieves, beyond the media and see the world for what it really is. We destroy everything around us to build us a concrete box in which to live in. You cannot reap a meal from concrete. You cannot eat a dollar bill. So why is it so important to us to conserve such a cage?
You tell me.

"And did you get what
you wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth."
Raymond Carver
I added some texture and shading to the pic and re-posted it as "Eyesore" if you want to compare them.
